Long time Fallon resident, Mary Elizabeth Briggs passed away, due to complications from surgery on February 18, 2013 at Renown Medical Center. Mary was born May 27, 1933 in Olean, New York, she was raised in Bolivar, New York.
Mary's husband was in the US Navy and they where sent to Fallon Naval Air Station in 1970. Mary was a homemaker, she loved gardening and raising her two children. She was a social butterfly, loved playing penny machines and bingo. She kept up on the news of her home town via facebook and the Bolivar New York fan page. Mary has one grandson, Sam who was the light in her life. Mary was the middle child of seven and the last one to pass. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Susan Ingalls; husband, Ron Briggs; siblings, Jack; Dolores; Bill; Sally; Emily and Duncan. Mary is survived by her daughter, Sherri Chenin, grandson, Sam both of Carson City; son, Bob Wilson of Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
