My husband's great-grandfather, Jonathan Edward Morrison passed away Saturday, December 10, 1949 at Queens General Hospital where he had been a patient for only a few days, though ill for several months at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Otto Wilson, Milton.

Mr. Morrison was born at Margaree, C.B., December 23, 1859, and was within a few days of his 90th birthday. The greater part of his life was spent at Springfield, where he was engaged in lumbering and farming. He was a member of Springfield Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Bertha Meisner of New Germany; two sons--Murray, Albany and Norman, Aylesford; three daughters--Mrs. E.R. Creamer, (Meda), and Mrs. A.E. Joudrey, (Florence), Worcester, Mass., and Mrs. Otto Wilson (Effie), Milton. There are several grandchildren and one half-brother, Daniel Morrison, Caribou, Me. A daughter Verna, predeceased him.

A service was held at the home of Mr. Otto Wilson, Milton, Monday evening, conducted by Rev. J.A. Carr. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Carroll Armstrong were held in Springfield Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon, with burial in the family plot in Springfield cemetery.

Pallbearers were Max Weaver, Hugh Mason, Obie Acker, Clifford Durling.
