Arthur L. Bishop, 88, of 913 Cedar Lane, Chesapeake, retired employee of P. Lorillard, Richmond, died Saturday in a Portsmouth Hospital. A native of Chesterfield County, he was a son of Andrew and Mrs. Virginia Lewis Bishop and the husband of the late Mrs. Maggie Redford Bishop.
He is survived by three daughter, Mrs. Claude W. Andrews and Mrs. Alfred C. Francis of Richmond and Mrs. Robert L Morris of Portsmouth; and a son, Clyde M. Bishop of Richmond. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Woody Funeral Home, Richmond. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond.
