Leamon A. Mathis, 76, of Hampstead, NC, died November 24, 2004, at home surrounded by his family. Leamon was a wonderful loving husband, father, Pa-Paw and friend. He was born October 14, 1928, in Warsaw, NC, the son of the late Matthew and Thelma Daughtry Mathis. Mr. Mathis is survived by his loving wife, Faye Mathis of the home, his six children, Arnold Mathis and wife Sherry, Gilbert Mathis and his wife Kathy, Milton Mathis and his wife Robin, Lindsey Mathis and his wife Leanne, Sherry Rivenbark and her husband Russell, Mariea Atkinson and her husband Danny. He was the proud Pa-Paw to Douglas, Brian, Jennifer, Aaron, Bailey, Hanah, Trevor, Sydnee, Olivia, William, and Adam and two great grandchildren, Jakob and Trevor; his brother James Mathis and his wife Janet, and a special sister Carlene Coltren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sadly he was followed in death by his grandson, Lindsey "Aaron" Mathis and son Lindsey.

He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
