Lawrence Paul Everett


Lawrence Paul Everett, age 55, of Massillon, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008. He was born November 16, 1952 in Massillon to the late Robert J. and Katherine (Kramer) Everett.


Larry was a 1971 graduate of Washington High School and attended Kent State University. For 17 years he was a floor manager at Revco and Value King Drugstores. Larry had great joy for music and had been a member of St. Mary's Men & Boys Choir; The Washington High School Choir, The Washingtonians, KSU Stark Campus Chorale and Madrigal Singers, Canton Civic Opera Chorus, The Greater Canton Men's Chorus and recently the Stark Festival Chorale. The second greatest joy in Larry's life was the Tiger Football team and was a longtime season ticket holder and Booster Club member.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. and Richard L. Everett.


He is survived by a sister and two brothers, Barbara (late Jack) McNamara of Inman, SC, Joseph and Susan Everett of Massillon, Michael and Ellen Everett of Brewster; an aunt, Loretta and William Flickinger of Massillon; a sister-in-law, Eva (Robert) Everett of Canton; eleven nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and a special helper, Cristi Jasinski.


A Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Fr. Edward Gretchko will officiate.


Interment will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Larry requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Heart Association.
