My uncle, Robert Lavine was my mother's brother-in-law. He predeceased his wife, Marie M. (Mitchell) Lavine, who died on January 18, 2003. He lived in Worcester, MA before moving to Rhode Island where he lived for many years. He owned and operated a shoe store there. From there, he lived in Brookline, Massachusetts where he worked in optometry until his death. He also leaves a daughter Eileen Ruth of New York, a daughter Kathy Sue of St. Croix, USVI and a granddaughter. Two great-grandchildren were born after his death. He also left several nieces and nephews behind.

A service was held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA with Rabbi Frank Waldorf of Temple Sinai in Brookline, officiating.

Memorial observance was held at his late residence, 70 Centre Street, Brookline.

Interment was at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon.

Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Uncle Bob is sadly missed and I will rejoice in the day we are all reunited.

Love,
Susan
