Annette Robertson, 93, of Hattiesburg died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Bedford Care. There will be a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery. Mrs. Robertson received her Master's degree from California Lutheran University, she was a school teacher for 25 years and a accomplished pianist and violinist. Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. O.B. Robertson; her parents, Major and Anise McDaniel; one daughter, Jane Fleck; one son, Wayne Robertson; one grandson, Kenn Robertson; two sisters, Anise Brock and Jane Wade and one brother, Major McDaniel, Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Carol (Mike) Heisler; three sons, Robert (Dottie) Robertson, David (LiMin) Robertson and Jim (Loreen) Robertson; thirteen grandchildren, Craig Fleck, Chris Heisler, Beth Peabody, Michelle Galliano, Matthew Heisler, David Robertson, Joshua Robertson, Angel Robertson, Rebecca Whitlock, Justin Robertson, Holly Huffnagle and Whitney Schwanda; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack McDaniel and one sister, Sarah Davis.

Her grandmother Mary Annette (McDaniel) Robertson, from Clinton, played the violin at religious services at Temple Beth-El in Lexington in the early 1940s. Her husband, the Rev. O.B. Robertson, was given a leather-bound Jewish Publication Society edition of The Torah as a gift from Jewish friends.
