WINNEBAGO -- Stacy Lynn Langholf, 33, of Winnebago departed her earthly life Thursday afternoon, Jan. 13, 2005, resulting from injuries of an automobile accident. Born June 2, 1971, in Beloit, Wis., beloved daughter of Bill and Sherre (Gummow) Faulkner. She graduated from Hononegah High School in 1989 and from Rockford College. Stacy married the love of her life, Erik Langholf on March 13, 1993, in Prince of Peace Church in Rockton. She was employed as a mental health assessor at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Stacy's greatest pleasure was being mom to her three sons. She was involved in each and every one of their activities, especially their sports. Stacy had a wonderful laugh and could light up a room instantly. Stacy was proud to be an organ donor.
Surviving family: her husband, Erik Langholf of Winnebago; much loved sons, Corbin, Dalton and Logan Langholf of Winnebago; parents, Bill and Sherre Faulkner of Rockton; sister, Holly (David) Froning of St. Anne; grandparents, Albert and Elaine Gummow of Rockton, Leona Faulkner of Machesney Park and Ray Faulkner of Rockton; many, many other relatives and dear friends.
Service at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, in Prince of Peace Church, 2336 Freeport Road, Rockton, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time; the Rev. Douglas L. Johnson will officiate. Burial in Shirland Cemetery in Shirland. Visitation from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, in Genandt Funeral Home, 602 N. Elida St., Winnebago. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established to Stacy's family. Her family asks friends to send a written memory of Stacy to be shared with her boys as they grow.
