Dorothy Nanette Kersey Lott, 52, of Rincon, Our Beloved Daughter, Mother, Sister and Aunt, left us on Thursday, Jan 27, 2005 at her residence, after a very short illness. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Francis N. and Elsie Perritt Davis, and her paternal grandparents, Sybil B. Mickler and Roger S. Kersey. She was a graduate of H. V. Jenkins High School - Class of 1970, and was a very active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, in Springfield, GA and began an early career as a hairdresser and was recently employed by the City of Savannah. Her greatest love was her family and her faith. The happiest times of her life were the nine years she spent with her former husband in Saudi Arabia, and her travels around the World. She wind surfed in Bali, Rode Camels in Egypt, sailed the Greek Isles on several occasions, cruised the Nile dressed as Elvis Presley and went on a safari in Africa, took shopping trips in Thailand, and ot her travels too numerous to mention. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Richard A. Moore, IV and Lori E. Moore of Spring, TX; mother and stepfather, Frances Davis Tuten and Jason D. Tuten of Rincon, GA; brothers, Jimmy R. Kersey, Jr., and sister in law, Cynthia P. Kersey; brother, David J. Silva, Jr., and sister in law, Carol Silva of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Patricia Kersey Wilson and brother in law, George W. Wilson of Savannah, GA; sister, Donna Hiltz Buttimer of Savannah, Ga. Her precious grandchildren, Alexander J., Austin T. and Savannah A. Moore of Spring, TX; her much much loved nephews, George W. Wilson, Jr., Winston Salem, N.C., Shawn Michael Wilson, Savannah, Ga., Timothy Glenn Wilson of Savannah, GA; Marine Corporal Sean Patrick Buttimer of Iraq, Justin Davis Buttimer, Kevin Andrew Buttimer, all of Savannah, Ga., Dustin James Kersey, Savannah, GA, Adam David Silva and Emily Elizabeth Silva of Jacksonville, FL; uncle and aunt, Francis N. (Buster) Davis, Jr., and Judith Davis, Midway, GA, great uncle and wife, James Edward Tuten and Peggy Tuten, various cousins, father Jimmy Roger Kersey, Sr. Vigil Service: 6 p.m. at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of the Hubert C.
