Harold lived in Fords most of his life. He was a Quality Control Foreman for the Ford Motor Company and a member of the UAW. He was a graduate of Woodbridge High School. He served in The US Army Air Corps in Africa and in Europe during WWII. He was a member of the Fords Keasby Seniors and an avid fisherman.
Harold was predeceased by his wife of 60 years Mary Sorensen in 2005; three late brothers, Frederick, Al and John Sorensen; late sister, Ann Teffenhart. He is survived by his son Ronald Sorensen and his wife Pat of Salem, NH; daughter Alice Sorensen and her husband Mark Melnick of NYC; two grandchildren, Jacqueline and Angela.
Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ. Services will be at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, NJ.
