Age 57, daughter of the late Leonard and Constance Verucci, passed away on November 23, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Penny worked in the food business all her life, first at Rock Manor Golf Club, then the Wilmington Skating Rink and finally with the Wawa Company. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed watching football, especially the Eagles with her family. Penny was a devoted and caring wife, mother and grandmother to her family, and a loving and caring person who will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Penny is survived by her husband Robert T. Bayalis; her daughter Lee Ann Levan, John Brock and twin granddaughters Tiffany and Lisa Shaffer; her siblings Joseph Verucci, Leonard Verucci and Bridget Cucura. She was preceded in death by her sisters Sharon Rutherford and Kimberly Schofield. A visitation hour will begin at 1 pm followed by a celebration of Penny's life at 2 pm on Saturday, December 1st at the Delcastle Golf Club, 801 McKennans Church Rd. Wilmington, 19808. In memory of Penny, the family has suggested that everyone wear something green to her celebration. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the , Philadelphia, PA 19017.
