BAIR, Samuel Spencer, age 62, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 9, 2011.

Retired Senior Systems Developer for the Ohio Supercomputer Center. He graduated from the University of Michigan. Sam served in the U.S. Marine Corps [Corporal] and was a Vietnam veteran.

Preceded in death by parents Samuel Watson Bair and Genevieve Shine Bair of Southfield, MI.

Survived by daughter, Jessica (Sean) Bair Flannery; grandsons, Colin and Declan; long time devoted friend, Peg Grannis; brother, Charles [Homer] (Vickie) Bair; sister, Sue (Joseph) Morley; beloved nieces and nephews; beloved great-nieces and great-nephews; many wonderful friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Columbus Metro Parks or Kobacker House. Family will receive friends Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 from 3-4 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 4 p.m.

Burial will be at the Lee Family Cemetery, Arapahoe, NC. Arrangements by SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES.
