Semmion N. Horne, 90, of Somerset, passed away on January 21, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in Glenwood, GA and later moved to Somerset were he resided since 1950. He worked as a mechanic at ER Squibb & Son, New Brunswick.. He was formerly a self-employed building contractor. He was a member of the deacon and food bank at Community Church of God, Plainfield. He was also a former longtime President and member of the NAACP, New Brunswick Branch.

He is survived by his wife Anna Lavada Horne, a son Raymond Nathaniel Horne, two grandsons LeDerick and Raymond J. Horne, two great grandchildren, Aniyah Eads-Lundy and Kamiyiah Eads-Lundy, a sister Martha Howard, and her children, Willard Howard, Gregory Howard, Maria Howard, Wendy Wright and Duane Howard, as well as a niece Faye Marie Chappell and a nephew Raymond W. Horne.

Viewing will be held at Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick. Funeral Service will follow. The Burial will take place at Baker Cemetery in Glenwood, GA. Final Services will take place in Dublin, GA on Thursday.
