She was born at 11:48 p.m. July 18, 1945 at 30 weeks in William Beaumont General Hospital with attending doctor Charles Fields, Major, MC. She weighed 2-0 and lived one day and four hours.
The infant was survived by her parents. Her twin sister, Joyce Lee Miller, was born at 11:40 p.m. and weighed 2-9. She died July 19, 1945, after 16 hours.
Her parents subsequently raised five sons in New Enterprise, Bedford County, PA.
