Frances Lamm Dickinson, 70, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was born August 27, 1942 in Nash County to the late Frank and Grace Thomas Lamm. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was a giving person who enjoyed taking care of others needs. Frances enjoyed cooking, golf, traveling and spending Willis's money. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Owen Wheeler and four brothers, Robert, Alvin, Julian and Bobby Lamm.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Willis Ray Dickinson, three daughters, Angie Kirk, Christie Camp and husband Ron, Leigh Hicks and husband Scott, eight grandchildren, Kellie Glover, Matthew and Marilyn Cheeseman, Yancey, Mason, and Noah Hicks, Caleb Cash and Grant Wheeler, three great grandchildren, Trenton and Serenity Martinez and Ayden Glover.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Rachel Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The ALS Association, Jim "Catfish" Hunter Chapter @ 4 N. Blount Street 2nd floor, Raleigh NC 27601.
