Margaret Mary Benningfield, 72, Lebanon, died at 10:15 a.m., November 10, 1991, at Spring View Hospital. Benningfield was born November 3, 1919 in Marion County. She was a housewife and a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John Raymond "J.R." Benningfield; parents, Tom & Cora Shelton Luckett; and one brother Buford Luckett. Survivors include four sons, John Raymond "Jackie" Benningfield of Lawrenceburg, Joseph Gary & Patrick Gerard "Pat" Benningfield of Lebanon and James Michael Benningfield, of Warren Robbins, GA; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Earl "Theresa" Wheatley of Springfield and Mrs. Mayola Parker, of Radcliff; eight grandchildren; two stepchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Geneva Luckett of Lebanon. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m., November 12, 1991, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Ivo Cecil officiated and was assisted by Rev. Jack Caldwell. Pallbearers were Dion, Gary Lee, Jody, Johnny, Stephen, Tommy & Jay Benningfield. Prayer services were held at 7:30 p.m., November 11, 1991, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of the arrangements.
