East Bethel, Dec. 2—John S. Coolidge died this morning at the home of his son Edgar Coolidge. He was 81 years old and had been in failing health for some time. He was born June 26, 1848, the son of Fairfield and Jane Coolidge. Mr. Coolidge was four times married and two sons were born by the first union, Edgar with whom he lived and Hollis of Gorham, N. H. He lived for some time at Upton and for many years drove the "tole" team with supplies from Bethel to Upton. He also engaged in farming somewhat during his early years.
He is survived by the two sons, Edgar with he had lived for the past 10 years, and Hollis beside several grandchildren and great-grandchildren /He lived in Cambridge Nh in 1880 and Upton maine in 1900/ he also lived in Grafton Maine in 1872 at the time of his Marriage to Sibil V Paine, his other wifes where Delphina King and Etta A Sawtelle
