Funeral services for J. Mack Starkey, 69, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Moss-Service Chapel, Ralph Andrews officiating, with burial in Etha Baptist Church.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Starkey died Monday, April 3 at his residence. He was born on June 25, 1936, to Jack and Callie Engle Starkey. He was a truck driver, retired after 51 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jay Starkey; and two brothers, Jim Starkey and Tom Starkey. He resided in Cullman County for 26 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a born-again Christian and a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR races and listening to Bluegrass music and the Grand Ole Opry Live.
