FRANKFORD, WV – Phyllis Yates Dotson, 91 of Frankford, WV passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV. Born April 5, 1928 in the Vago Community at Frankford, WV she was the daughter of the late Andrew Lee and Ada Virginia Boone Yates. Phyllis Retired from the Alderson Federal Prison, worked fifteen years at Burlington Industries and served four years as Activities Director for Shenandoah Adult Care in Clifton Forge, VA. She was a member of the Lewisburg Community Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Dotson, daughter, Linda Lee Dotson Stacy, sisters, Ruth Yates, Beatrice Yates, Annabel Hughes, Betty Hughes, Lula Collins, and a brother, Alec Yates.

Survivors are one son, Michael Dotson of Frankford, WV, grandchildren, Nikki Dotson, whom she raised of Frankford, WV, Travis Dotson of Ronceverte, Tommi Stacy of Covington, VA and Ashley Johnson of Arizona, great-grandchildren, Hanley and Jada Johnson, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service held at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Hat Defibaugh officiating.
