Mrs. Elease Nancy Hill —Santee
Funeral services for Mrs. Elease Nancy Hill, 99, of 144 December Road, Santee, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 at Providence Baptist Church, Santee with the Rev. Lonnie Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery, Santee.
Mrs. Hill died Saturday, Jan. 24.
Mrs. Hill was born Aug. 14, 1904 in Elloree, a daughter of the late Missouri Plair and Rufus Dupree Plair. She attended school in Elloree and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Eddie "Jack" Hill Sr. She was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Hill Jr.
Survivors include six daughters, Azalee Sellers and Catherine Gilmore of South Norwalk, Conn., Ernestine Shivers of the home, Susie (John) Davis of Santee, Annie Mae (Joe) Johnson of Vance, Rachel (Verdell) Gary of Bridgeport, Conn.; one son, Freddie (Fannie) Hill of Alpharetta, Ga.; 36 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren; a special god daughter, Mary Hill of Santee; a special daughter-in-law, Beatrice Hill of Santee; a compassionate companion and friend, Ms. Estell Brown; a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
