Mary Elizabeth Jane (Melissa) Willis born in Ellistown MISS, married Andrew M Privett June 23, 1871 in Bethel Springs, McNairey County Tenn. She is the mother of Jess Claude Privett and the grandmother of Genevieve Privett. She is the dau of Jefferson P and Angeline Willis, Ellistown Miss. She was light haired and very pretty. She lived in Tenn during the Yellow fever epidemic period, then moved to Texas where Andrew M worked for the Katy Railroad, and then to Gooding Idaho where they owned a cesspool business. The marker on her and Andrew M (E) Privett's grave does not reflect the correct information as the marker was placed long after their death.Wife of Andrew E. Privett,parents were Jefferson P. Willis & Angelina Harding-Willis.
