Funeral service for James O. Tims, 39, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with the Rev. Walter Clark officiating. Interment was scheduled in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells.
Mr. Tims, of Wells, died in an Austin hospital Monday morning. He was born on February 28, 1923, in Cherokee County and had resided in Wells all of his life.
Survivors include his sister, Miss Nina Tims of Arcola; brothers, Cecil W. Tims of Ft. Worth, Orville J. Tims of California, Hugh V. Tims of Arcola and William S. Tims of Wells.
Pallbearers will be J. B. Presnall, Ferrell Hicks, T. J. Warner, Odean Lee, Marsh R. Oliver and Dan Tullos.
