Mrs. Irene Mae Kanode, widow of Martin Luther Kanode, who resided at 219 South Market Street, died early Sunday morning at the Frederick Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Tacoma Park, on Nov. 6, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Archibald and Bessie King Lusby. She was the last of her immediate family. Mrs. Kanode was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church of Frederick,
Surviving her arc four children, Miss Cynthia Delores Kanode, Martin Luther Kanode Jr., Herbert R. Kanode and Edward Albert Kanode, all of Frederick. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Interment will be in the Hyattstown Methodist Cemetery, Hyattstown.
