Hunter S. Ackis, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2007.
Preceded in death by his parents, Septimus and Annie Ackis and brother, Ken (Alma) Ackis.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Harriet M. Ackis; son, Kenneth F. Ackis of Tucson, AZ; daughter Cheryl (Mark) Daniel; grandsons, Clint and Hunter (Carma) Daniel; and great-granddaughter, Stella Grace Daniel.
Hunter Ackis was a loving son, brother, husband, father and he never met a stranger.
