Funeral services for Frank Lee Hersha, long-time Hopewell-Unionvale area resident, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the Hopewell EUB church, under the direction of Macy and Son, with interment at the Hopewell cemetery. Hersha died Friday, Jan. 19, 1962 at the age of 48.
Son of Irvin and Bertina Hirsch Hersha, he was born May 22, 1913 at Houlton, Ore. He was reared and educated in Portland and married Caroline Annie Davidson at Vancouver, Wash. on Feb. 15, 1935. They had made their home most of their married lives near Hopewell.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline; three sons, Irvin, Elden and Frank Hersha, all of Hopewell; a daughter, Miss Carol J. Hersha of Portland; a brother, William L. Hersha of Portland and four grandchildren.
