Mr. Harry Anthony Thrift, 61, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, in the Hospice Satilla, in Waycross, GA following a short illness.
Mr. Thrift was born Feb. 5, 1951, in Homerville, GA, to Myrtice Strickland Thrift of Manor and the late Anthony "Flint" Thrift. He was a Pentecostal by faith and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Survivors other than his mother are his wife: Teresa Griffis Thrift, Homerville; one daughter: April Thrift Lane, Homerville: one grandson: Devin Lane, Homerville; one sister: Laverne Strickland, Homerville; one brother & sister-in-law: Stanley & Beth Thrift, Homerville; and several other relatives who he dearly loved..
Services for Mr. Thrift will be held Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at eleven o'clock from the Trinity Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Mr. Thrift will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
