His father was Harold Walker and mother Ruth Morris. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Marie A. Walker, sons Thomas, Randall and Jeffrey, their wives Donna, Tana, and Lisa, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Two sons preceded him in death, Greg and infant Thomas. After graduating from El Paso Technical Institute, he entered the US Navy in 1945 and served in the pacific during WWII. Upon discharge from the military, he attended the University of Oklahoma. Don was a member of John T. Bean Masonic Lodge 1333, where he served as Master in 1999. He owned and operated Walker Supply and Equipment Company for 38 years in El Paso. Military Honors and Masonic Services were performed at Evergreen Cemetery 12400 Montana Avenue El Paso, Texas on March 26, 2011 10 a.m. under the direction of the Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 Carolina Drive El Paso, Texas
