WATERBURY — Lillian M. (Rousseau) Foley, age 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at her home. She was the widow of Robert C. Foley.

She was born in Waterbury, Conn., on Jan. 17, 1936, daughter of the late Arcade and Claudia (LaCroix) Rousseau. Mrs. Foley was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and she had retired from Bank of America. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church and was a former religious educator at St. Francis Xavier and St. Anne's parishes in Waterbury. She was a member of the Gilmartin Community Club. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Foley leaves a son, Thomas Foley and his wife, Cara, of Prospect; four daughters, Jacqueline M. Bowen and her husband, Steven, of Waterbury, Sandra Riccio and her husband, Ralph, of Waterbury, Corrine Lacy and her husband, Matthew, of Prospect, Linda McEwen and her husband, James, of Somerville, Mass.; a brother, Rev. Robert Rousseau of North Branford; a sister, Jeannine Zarrella of Wolcott; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Kevin R. Foley, and her two brothers, Fernand and Lionel Rousseau.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Bridget Dinklocker of the Waterbury VNA Hope Team and Pat Sockwell, CNA.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to SS. Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Road, Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Spring Lake Road, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carolyn's Place, 137 Grandview Ave., Waterbury, CT 06708.
