The youngest of nine children and a fraternal twin, born to Richard Spencer and Princess Eugena Della Gardener. Married Ervan Leland Clegg on October 5th, 1940. They only had one biological child named Spencer on April 16th, 1942. They had many foster children, but adopted two girls. They named their daughters Bonnie (February 5th, 1962) and Jane (February 20th, 1963). Clytie (who mainly went by Daphene) was diagnosed with liver cancer in 1977. It went away, but came back in 1981, and lead to her death. She is survived by her son and two daughters, as well as thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-five (and counting) great grand children. Daphene was my mother Jane's adoptive mother, whom I have never met.
