Caspar Stieler Real, age 67 of D'Hanis, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012. He was born June 4, 1945 in Fredericksburg to Felix and Lillian Stieler Real.
Caspar was an active farmer in Medina County and worked at Valdina Farms for 14 years. He retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was a proud Texas Aggie.
Caspar was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He was always proud of his children's accomplishments. He was very outgoing and loved to kid around and laugh.
He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Sandra Evans Real of D'Hanis; parents, Felix R. Real, Jr. and Lillian Stieler Real of Utopia; daughters, Alexandria Real of D'Hanis, Christine Kelly and husband, Jack, Jr. of San Antonio and Jennifer McBeth of D'Hanis; sons, Robert Real and wife, Susan of Katy and Jonathon Caillouette and wife, Carrleigh of Weatherford; sisters, Linda Thorne and husband, Gary of Kerrville and Roberta Rollings and husband, Robert of Plano; grandchildren, Jack Kelly III, Campbell Kelly, Jacey McBeth, Kaylen and Cayson Caillouette.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012, 5-7 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012, 12 Noon at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, officiated by The Rev. Stockton Williams. Interment will follow at the Real Family Cemetery with a reception to follow at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
