Carnesville - Paul Jones Andrews, 83, of Rt. 3, widower of Zella Vause Dalrymple Andrews, died Saturday, June 17, 1989, at Habersham County Medical Center.

Born in Franklin County, he was a son of the late Columbus William and Vera Elrod Andrews. He was a retired security guard and a member of Union Ground Christian Church.

Survivors are sons, Don Andrews of Duluth and Cohen A. Andrews of Lawrenceville; daughters, Mrs. Elise McFarlin, Mrs. Vause Ette Quinn and Mrs. Sylvia McFarlin of Carnesville and Mrs. Dolores Lovel of Clarkesville; brothers, Roscoe Andrews of Carnesville, Hoyt Andrews and Gartrell Andrews of Lavonia and Garvin Andrews of Anderson, S.C.; sisters, Mrs. Cloma Terrell of Laurens, S.C., Mrs. Sula Welborn and Mrs. Gladys Marchman of Lavonia; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Services were at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 18, at Ginn Memorial Chapel by the Revs. Jimmy Grubbs and Charles Ivie. Burial was in Union Ground Christian Church Cemetery.
