He lived at 1903 Christian Street almost his entire life, until he moved to Unruh Street in the Mayfair Section of Philadelphia, around 1932. He lived there until death in 1934. His son Harry lived next door with his wife and two children on Unruh Street, (Between Roosevelt Blvd. & Frankford Ave.) Philadelphia.
Both his parents died in the Christian Street house. His spinster sister, Alice, also lived with John and his wife Maisy.
Maisy & John had five children: Walter, Elizabeth "Bessie," Louise Irene, Elsie & Henry "Harry."
