Services tomorrow for Anthony Policastro, 61
HIGHLAND PARK – Funeral services for Anthony Policastro, 61, president of White Sales and Service Inc., who died Wednesday of a heart attack, will be held at 8 a.m. tomorrow at the Rusciano Funeral Home, 75 Woodbridge Ave.
A 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church, Sandford Street, New Brunswick. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Born in New York City, Mr. Policastro had lived in Highland Park 50 years. Following his graduation from New Brunswick High School, he began working for White Sales and Service Inc., which had been founded by his late father, Joseph G. Policastro. The firm, located for many years on Route 1, Edison, has since moved to South Brunswick.
Mr. Policastro, who resided at 135 Amherset St., became president of the company more than 20 years ago. While visiting the Peddie School campus in Hightstown on Wednesday, Mr. Policastro suffered a heart attack and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Medical Center in Princeton.
Mr. Policastro was a communicant of St. Theresa's R.C. Church, Edison.
In addition to his wife, Alberta Scnater Policastro, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth DeMarco of North Brunswick; two sons, George J. of Succasunna and Joseph A. of Milltown; two sisters, Elizabeth DiGiovanni of Highland Park and Rose Cammerata of Cranbury and five grandchildren.
