He was a native of Brunswick, spent his entire life there until some time ago when he moved to Washington to accept a position with the railroad. He was a graduate of Brunswick High School, following which he accepted a position in the Brunswick B&O shops, which he held until his removal to Washington.
He is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Alsie Pumprhey, formerly of Brunswick, for the past several years a school teacher near Washington; his mother, a sister, Miss Mary, and a brother, Anthony M. Chambers, at home.
The remains were taken to his home in Brunswick.
