John F. beloved husband of Louise Watts (nee Elsner) loving father of Elizabeth Watts and Amanda Hirko and her husband David, dear brother of Karen Pastorius Waller and her husband Joe also cherished by 3 granddaughters Hannah, Gwendolyn and Kendall and survived by numerous cousins and friends. Passed away peacefully September 12, 2012 at 72 years of age. The passer on of jokes, the environmentalist, Sierra Club Canoe school instructor, Finneytown High School teacher of 32 years, geologist, historian, contributor to the editorial page of The Cincinnati Enquirer and, in more recent years, gun rights and political advocate. The Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Norman Chapel at Spring Grove Cemetery from 4-6PM, the SERVICE WILL IMMEDATELY FOLLOW at 6:00 PM (Please note this is a time change). Memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association , the American Diabetic Association, The SPCA of Hamilton County and the National Rifle Association
