BEAHAN - Robert Haight Beahan of Cascade died Wednesday, August 9, 2000.
Born in Ionia, MI he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Dr. Charlotte L. Beahan of Murray, KY; son, Robert S. Beahan of Cascade; grandchildren, Elizabeth J. Hegel, Thomas P. Daniels (Nancy) of Chicago, IL and several nieces and nephews.
He was 1st Lieutenant glider pilot instructor in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and a Charter member of St. Robert's Parish in Ada. In sales for nearly thirty years with Spartan Stores, he was also an avid fly fisherman and golfer.
Visitation will be Friday, August 11, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the funeral home with the Burial Mass 11am Saturday, August 12 at St. Robert's in Ada. Memorials may be made to God's Kitchen or The Hugh Michael Beahan Foundation.
