Robert J. Cramer, age 81, passed away in Belmont Nursing Center April 5, 1994. He was a sheet metal worker for Fred Christian and sons over 40 years, retiring in 1977. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of Walter Weller American Legion Post #135, Barton Smith Lodge #613 F& A.M., directors staff of Zenobia Shrine, Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo. He was past chef of Volture #141 of 40&8 and past president of N.W. Ohio Building Trades Congress. He was a business agent of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #6 and served on the State Apprenticeship Board.
He is survived by wife, Kathryn; son, Robert G., of Erie, MI; 2 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Leo Cramer, of Holland, OH.
Friends may call at the David R. Jasin Funeral Home, 5300 Summit St. at 126th St. Sunday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. Rev. Joann Powers officiating, where the Lucas County Burial Corp will have a brief service. Tributes may be made to the Shrine Burn Unit, or Alzheimers Foundation.
