Mr. Ivey had been a resident of Palatka for ten years since coming here fro DeLand. He was a member of the Carpenters and Joiners of America Local Union 1500.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Maisie Brown Ivey; two daughters, Mrs. Essie Dendroid of East Point, Ga. and Mrs. Eldon Martin of Palatka; one brother, Byron of St. Augustine; three sisters, Miss Lizzie Ivey of Columbus, Ga., Mrs. Mattie Chandler of Browns Crossing, Ga., and Mrs. Nina Eubanks of Birmingham, Ala.; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
