Mrs. Madeline M Long, 43, of Five Mile Fork died Friday in Bethesda Naval Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.
Wife of Paul Long , she was a beauty operator at Marci Beauty Salon here. Mrs. Long was a native of King George County.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, James Paul Long, at home; her father Lee Roy Bowler of Eley Ford Road; three brothers, Emmett Irvin Bowler, Wilbur Harrison Bowler, Sr and Alton LeRoy Bowler, all of Fredericksburg, one sister, Annie Byrdett Bowler Marders of Oak Grove and several nieces and nephews. Her mother was the late Lillian Pearl Pitts Bowler.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home, Burial will follow in Arlington National Cemetery.
