Mark Stacy Griffin, age 54, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, November 24, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Griffin was born June 4, 1958 in Texarkana, Texas. He was retired from Texarkana Water Utilities and was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, J. S. Griffin.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl Teague Griffin of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Staci Lynne Griffin Cook and James R. Cook of Atlanta, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Dustin Ryan Griffin and Brittnee Martin Griffin of Texarkana, Arkansas; his mother, Irene Ridgway Griffin of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Kay Wendell Puckett of Texarkana, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Sammy and Jan Griffin of Nash, Texas; five grandchildren, Bryson Daniel Cook, Brennan Carter Griffin, Noah James Cook, Cole Gibson Cook, Bayley Rae Griffin and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Powell officiating. Burial is under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
