GALIVANTS FERRY - Kevin Morris Jenerette, 42, husband of Mrs. Caren C. Jenerette passed away November 21, 2012 at MUSC following a sudden illness.
Mr. Jenerette was born in Mullins, a son of Willie and JoAnn Jenerette. He was member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church where he was a Lay Leader, Music Director, and was very involved with all other aspects of the church. Mr. Jenerette taught as a Math Instructor and a Math Lab coordinator at Coastal Carolina University for 14 years where was named as Professor of the Year. He taught Mathematics for 3 years at the Scholars Academy for Horry County Schools, and was currently employed with the Horry County School District as a Secondary Math Learning Specialist. He enjoyed Coaching Basketball with the Aynor Area Little League Association, singing Southern Gospel music, and was a well-respected man. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother, son-in-law, and friend.
Surviving in addition to his wife Mrs. Caren C. Jenerette of the home are, two sons, Zachary N. Jenerette and Caleb T. Jenerette, both of the home; and one brother, Jody Jenerette (Jill), of Conway.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Rehoboth United Methodist Church with Rev. John Watts and Rev. Sam Clardy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
