Patti L. Spencer Smith, 49, of Longview, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, in a Longview hospital. Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 25, 1955, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a former secretary for Texarkana Independant School District and a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Phil Smith of Longview; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Phillip and Kristi Smith and Billy Smith of Texarkana; her mother, Louise Spencer of Texarkana; one brother, Dennis Spencer of Texarkana; one sister, Belinda Braley of Texarkana; one grandchild, Avery Smith of Texarkana; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Buchanan First Baptist Church Building Fund, 3635 Buchanan Loop Road, Texarkana, Texas.
