It is with Great sadness that we announce the death of our Beloved father,husband, uncle and grandfather and friend. Jake was predeceased by first wife Jeanne Pfannmuller, his parents Marinus and Forra Brouwer,his brothers John and William Brouwer, as well as a sister Elizabeth Lake. He is survived by his wife Joy Stockwell-Brouwer and his children Connie Pearce and Jim Brower and Families beloved grand father to Trent Brouwer and family Kerri Antifaev and family,Toma Brouwer Miya Brouwer and Dana Brouwer and Great grand father to Justine Antifaev. Beloved Brother of Mary McLeod and family beloved Uncle to several nephew and Nieces including great nephew NHL star Troy Brouwer.
Jake was a world war 2 veteran in the Canadian Army who was the in the first wave to land on juno beach on D-Day.
For the family and friends we will miss him Dearly. At his request there will be no funeral service, in lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Canadian Diabetes association.
