TRINITY - Erastus Lee Moser, 100, died May 13, 2003, at GrayBriar Nursing Home.

He was born in Stokes County on Aug. 12, 1902, a son of Squire Henry Moser and Sally Hutchins Moser.

In his earlier years he resided in Stokes, Forsyth, Caldwell and Guilford Counties. In 1957, he moved to Morehead City, where he owned and operated City Reupholstering Shop until his retirement in 1973. He maintained his residence in Morehead City until January, 1987, when he returned to High Point. He was of the Jehovah Witness faith.

He was married to Ila Mae Pierce until her death in 1979. He also was preceded in death by his sister, Mrs. Maggie Cleio Moser Weant.

Surviving are his brother, Percy W. Moser of Trinity; three nephews, Larry J. Weant and Charles D. Weant of High Point, and Douglas W. Weant of Trinity; and two nieces, Ellen W. Priddy of High Point and Peggy Moser Neese of Jamestown.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday by Richard Brinkley in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
