Bobbie Faye Anderson, 71, of Ash died Sunday, November 11, 2012, in SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice. She was a daughter of Ernest Garland and Vera Carolina Hughes Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Esta Mae Willetts and Virginia Grant and her brother, Calvin Smith.
Surviving are her husband, James "Doug" Anderson; daughters, Bobbie "Lynn" Coon (Jack) of Rocky Point, NC and Lisa Piver (Ray) of Ash; brothers, Lennon Smith (Avis), Charlie Smith (Alice), Monroe Smith (Thelma), Danny Smith (Janice) all of Ash and Roger Smith (Delilah) of Supply; sisters, Cally Miller (Billy) of Wilmington, Dorothy Stanley, Lois Milliken (Terry), Elizabeth Phillips (Lester) all of Ash, Debbie Norris (William) of Shallotte and Evelyn Carpenter (Tommy) of Supply; six grandchildren, Rhett Stanley (Brittany), Christopher and Alyssa Coon, Justin, Kacey and Brooke Piver.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Soldier Bay Baptist Church by The Rev. Charlie Smith and The Rev. Doug Fairfax. Interment will be in Smith Family Cemetery.
