BAGWELL James Albert "Jim" Bagwell - An 82 year-old resident of Mobile, died November 6, 2012 in a local hospital. Born May 6, 1930 in Ware Shoals, S.C., he was the son of the late Elizabeth Jean Sweat Bagwell and James Shaw Bagwell. James A. was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Seriously wounded while on patrol, he spent almost three years in Army hospitals. He was awarded the Purple Heart and received an Honorable Discharge. His employment included many years with Daniels Construction Company in Greenville, SC, and he retired from Courtaulds North America in Axis, AL. Jim and his wife enjoyed fishing and camping with their longtime dear friends and camping buddies.
Interment in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
