DANNY RAY PRESNELL 43 years of age of Hurley, VA passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, VA. Born March 14, 1961 in Buchanan County he was the son of Clark Presnell and Juanita Blankenship Presnell. He was a disabled Coal Miner and an avid outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Jimmy Darrell Presnell.
He is survived by his parents: Clark Presnell and Juanita Blankenship Presnell of Hurley, VA; two daughters: Melissia Robinson and Cheryl Keen both of Hurley, VA; one son: Michael Justus of Hurley, VA; two sisters: Linda Estep and husband Dale and Kim Presnell all of Hurley, VA; one brother: Tim Presnell and Annette Blankenship of Wolford, VA; four grandchildren: David Darrell Keen, Timothy Shawn Keen, Bradley Robinson and Nathanial Robinson. He is also survived by two nieces: Chelsie Presnell and Courtney Blankenship; three nephews: Tony Estep, Brian Estep and Ryan Estep.
Funeral services for Danny Ray Presnell will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Knox Creek Church of God, Hurley, VA with Reverends: Doug Blankenship, Allen Stacy and Henry Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Wolford Cemetery at Wolford, VA.
Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
The body will be taken to the Knox Creek Church of God Sunday evening where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Services will be Sunday and Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.
