Ensign F. A. Little, USNR, was designated Naval Aviator #10631 in 1942. Entered active service via the pre-war Aviation Cadet (AVCAD) program.

Lieut. Little, a pilot with patrol bombing squadron one-thirty-four (VPB-134), was killed as a passenger (as were all nine aboard) when a twin-engine Lockheed PV-1 Ventura patrol bomber lost an engine on takeoff, and crashed at Pici Field.

Felix was a promising minor league baseball player prior to the war, and there's a tribute to him at "Baseball's Greatest Sacrifice" web site.
