Funeral for Zeb V. Harris, 74, farmer of Flag Pond, who died Sunday at his home after a long illness, will be held Wednesday. Funeral will be in Rice Bend Church of Christ, Flag Pond with burial at Metcalf Cemetery.

Zeb was a son of the late Joseph F. and Catherine Willis Harris of Flag Pond, he was a native of Unicoi County near the North Carolina state line.

Survivors are is wife; five sons, Paul of Erwin, Luther of Farmville Virginia, Arthur and Vance of Detroit, Mich. and Everett Harris of Flag Pond; six daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Summie of Greeneville, Mrs. Mary Landis of Louisa, Va, Mrs. Velma Shelton and Miss Juanita Harris of Portsmouth, VA, Mrs. Esther Lindsey of Norfolk, VA and Mrs. Ida Hensley of Asheville, NC; a brother, J.F.
