Buried on Dec 3, 1922 by Crimmins Funeral Home. Wife left him and went to Topeka, Ks. During a visit from daughter Hazel, in 1971, she stated it was suspected that her father had been careless at work, due to depression of the break up of the family. The children, David Jr. & Hazel, were sent to their mother, in Topeka Ks. The spelling of the Stadley surname was changed, at some point, from Steidley to Stadley. She only raised Hazel. David Jr. stayed with future in-laws, as a teen, until he married my mother-in-law.
